My friend recently had a baby, (yay Jadie, welcome to the world Ivette!!)  I would like to acknowledge this and send a gift.  Problem is she lives in Germany and I'm not sure how most sites handle this.  Do you guys think it would be best to have the gift sent to me and then I'll ship it to her?  Does anyone have any experience with overseas shipping?

FAMILY, RELATIVES and FRIENDS...

I know I've been away awhile, but I'm feeling a little better and have been very busy.  Last weekend DBuffet and I took at quick road trip to Northern NJ and NYC.  We visited her hometown and some of her family in NJ and then we were back on the road to Brooklyn.  It seemed as though we were running all day and when we arrived a Camel's place it was nearly 7 p.m. and our show, Call Me Crazy: Diary of Mad Social Worker, started at 8 p.m.  We really enjoyed the show, and afterwards we waited to meet the star, who happens to be a friend of D's.

Then it was back to Camel's for a good night's sleep.  The next morning after breakfast, we were back on the road.  It was a quick trip but it gave us a feel for how things will be when we spend 18 hours in the car driving to Savannah and then FLA in June!  Luv that chick!

Motivation: Who Told You You Were Naked?

The craziest dream ever!

I just had the craziest dream.  Let me start by saying I was in extreme pain when I got into bed cuz I went to work this morning on crutches again with flip flops on!  I looked like a nut rolling around the lab on a chair but, I got the job done.  By the time I got home my foot was screaming so I decided to try to get some rest.  I fell asleep and had the most bizarre dream.  I remember being at my desk with BTho when D walked up for her morning visit.  I didn't have on any pants and all of my behind was out.  As I was putting my pants on and trying to explain to her why I didn't have any pants on I noticed my director looking out of his office at me (in the real world you can't see my desk from his office).  McGeezer comes up and of course she begins to laugh loudly.  I have no idea where BTho disappeared to but I decided to go to the bathroom to get myself together.  While in the bathroom I run into the woman and man who are always talking loudly in our office area and they are exchanging ideas about child rearing (In the real world, they seem too old to have small children or even like children).  As I leave the bathroom, I'm pulling a suitcase and now I'm on the rooftop parking level of Caesars in Vegas looking for my cubical.  The sun was sooo hot and bright  (like the day we went to the Phillies game and TK got us sky level tickets). I found the entrance to the Hotel/casino and I walk in and I couldn't see cuz I'm coming in from the bright light and I then I woke up and for the first few secs I couldn't see.  How crazy was that!

Plantar fasciitis SUCKS...

I'm so tired of being in pain, taking NSAIDS, icing, etc.  I'm talking years of pain!  I went to work today on crutches, awful!  BTho is taking such good care of me, what would I do without him?! I have to go in tomorrow too, hopefully the stretching I'm doing will help. I hate sitting in bed, it was such a nice day!

Enough of that, how was your day?  What kind of fun stuff did yall do?
