Common sense

A few things that you should already know...

1) Don't judge - it's not your job and you certainly aren't perfect

2) Always speak when you enter a room, it's just common courtesy.  Also, if someone speaks to a group to which you are a part, they are addressing you.  Respond!

3) Know who you are, don't allow others to tell you who you are or what you are capable of.

4) As an adult, you shouldn't ask for permission to do anything. As a matter of courtesy you should inform people of your intentions but you don't need to ask for permission. Remember, I do what I want!

5) Don't put your purse on the floor - now ladies I see this being done far too often and frankly it's nasty. The worst offense I've seen is a purse on a public bathroom floor, YUCK!!

WOW..How times flies when you're having fun!

Hey! I can't believe it's been over a year since I've posted.  A lot has happened and things have not slowed down for me. I'd like to get back to sharing if anyone is still out there following along.  Let's get back to fun, food, fashion and foolery.  I'll try a week in review format for now and see how that goes. This is an exciting time of year for me with my Birthday coming up on the 18th.  I can't wait to share the celebration with you. HELLO!!!

I know, I've been MIA for quite some time.  Needless to say, my summer was quite busy and life moves so fast when you are on autopilot.  Over the past 1 1/2 months I've been on a journey to a healthier lifestyle with the ladies of the FB group Getting Sexy with Kendra and its been challenging at times but oh so rewarding.  I'm down @22 lbs. and feeling good.

Here's where I began my journey

So things are going pretty good, cravings aren't too bad and workouts are getting better.  

In other news, the nephew-son turned 21 back in late July!

he spent his bday across the country in San Diego

the cupcakes and cocktails themed bday party was so much fun!

Very nice to hang out with these ladies!

We ended our summer with a road trip to Savannah, I'll do a separate post about that.
